专家介绍：
Jianjun Xu is currently a research professor in the College of Science, George Mason University, supported by National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information service NOAA/NESDIS/STAR. His expertise is "mesoscale numerical modelling, satellite data assimilation, satellite remote sense and sun-earths climate connection, decadal climate change and Air-Sea interaction, hydrometeorology."
Dr. Xu has been working in meteorology and hydrology for around 25 years. Recent work areas include:
Satellite data application and solar-climate change;
Mesoscale modeling and satellite data assimilation;
Precipitation and land surface processes;
Monsoon, ENSO and interdecadal climate variability.
